Similarly, ongoing efforts toward parasitic disease vaccines, such as those against malaria or leishmaniasis, aim to curb the impact of these infections. Moreover, vaccines against STDs like human papillomavirus (HPV) and hepatitis B play a crucial role in preventing transmission and reducing associated health risks, emphasizing the importance of vaccination in comprehensive disease prevention strategies.
