Biography:
Kajal Sharma is a Ph.D. scholar under Prof. Madhu Khanna at Department of Virology, V.P. Chest Institute, Delhi University, India. Her thesis title is ‘Role of host cellular proteins in influenza virus genome delivery and innate immune responses’. She have expertise in molecular biology, in vitro infection models, proteomics, virus–host interactions, and siRNA-mediated gene silencing for functional validation of host factors during viral replication. She also utilize in-silico approaches to analyze virus–host protein interactions. Additionally, She is working on the Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) project, investigating viral co-infections in clinical specimens to understand disease outbreaks and diagnostic challenges.
