Dr. Julia Bespyatykh is currently a Head of Center of Molecular Medicine and Diagnostic, Head of Laboratory of molecular medicine in the Federal Research and Clinical Centre of Physical‐Chemical Medicine, Associate Professor of the Expertise Department in Anti-Doping and Drug Control in the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. In 2016 she defended the Ph.D. thesis in biochemistry. She has been involved in the development of biochips for the typing of mycobacteria. She's current research interests mainly focus on the mechanisms of drug resistance and pathogenicity factors of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, using different OMICs methods, a description of the population structure of the pathogen. She has published more than 30 research articles in SCI(E) journals.
