Dr. Lina Souan has a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology & Biochemistry. She earned her Master’s degree in Microbiology from University of Pittsburgh, PA and a PhD degree in Immunology from The Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. Dr. Souan trained at the Mayo clinic Rochester, Minnesota in stem cell therapy for cancer.

She was hired at King Hussein Cancer center (KHCC), Amman, Jordan as the Director of Immunology lab at the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and she is the Deputy Director and Chief Quality Officer of KHCCBIO cancer Biobank and the Director of R&D at the department.

Dr. Souan is certified by the American Board of Medical Laboratory Immunology D(ABMLI). She has several publications and serves as a reviewer for several peer reviewed journals as well as for the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). 

Dr.  Souan’s research interests include Immunology, adult stem cell, biobanking, and personalized medicine.
